Happy Diwali from one-quarter Indian Me

Holla lovely folks!

Wishing all the Indians in the world a Happy Diwali! :)

He used to celebrate this,
He used to scold us for turning on the light and asked us to turned it off and light the candles instead.
He used to call his children and all of us will have a small gathering for his behalf on this lovely day.

But he is long gone.
The loving soul of my late DaDa..

Happy Diwali DaDa!
No matter what happened, this day reminded me of you.
God Bless your soul where ever you are now DaDa. :)

XOXO. Gee.

  1. Happy Diwali to you. I believe your Dada is resting in a good peace now.

p/s I call my father as Dada tu. Some people thought it is weird but for us (the siblings) that is the precious name that shall never be forgotten.

  2. Hi Gee, from across the ocean, here's wishing you and all at home the very best of Diwali.
I didn't even know it's that time of year too.
Sure miss visiting my Indian friends and enjoying their Diwali sweet treats.
    Happy Diwali.

Regret to read about your Dada....may he rest in peace.
What though the radiance which was once so bright,
Be now forever taken from my sight.
Though nothing can bring back the hour, of splendour in the grass,
    Of glory in the flowers,
    We will grieve not.
Rather find strength in what remains behind.

Best regards, you have fun and keep a song in your heart.
    Lee.
