Chubbier and chubbier

"Always walk through life as if you have something new to learn and you will."
~Anonymous

So,
Did you notice the new change I made to my bloggie?

I made a new header!! :)
I downloaded the header template from ShabbyBlog site and designed the template with an online app called PhotoFlexer
Simple and not much an eyesore than my previous header. :p
So how was it? :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

And not forget to mention that I went to an event this morning too.
It was a Hepatitis's health exhibition plus free hepatitis C screening being held at Suria Shopping complex, KK.
Interesting posters about Hepatitis C was being exhibited and liver's specimens were available for viewing too.
Am not gonna ramble much on the academic stuff though, as this is my world of escapee, and I will not mention much academic stuff here. ;p

And tadaa!
I've done a free screening test for Hep C.
Gosh!
I'm getting chubbier! :((

I'm not categorized as the 'at risk' group, but I insisted the staffs to let me do the screening and I succeed.
*Who's know what evil could be swimming around in my blood* ;p
The screening's result was not immediately available as it needed to be process in the lab by the expert.
The result will be send to those who participated by mail on God-know-when and someone with 'positive' result will get a call on God-know-when too. :)

That's all for Gee's ramble today. Ciao folks. :)

My lips are sealed for you.

"Curiosity is lying in wait for every secret"
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

I'm a normal human being.
A normal girl.
I love catching up with the latest gossip or rumor about someone that I know.
Did you not?

But, hearing does not always lead to spreading.
Activating my hearing sensation doesn't mean that I will trigger my vocal cord to make out the same noise as the one that I listened to.

If someone chose to pour their heart out for me, sharing their problem and secret with me,
I'll not be an idiot and leaks the story out.

I know what confidentiality is.
Being in this profession, I know when to keep quiet and when to intervene.
Your secret are safe with us.
Google image

You want to keep things in the dark?
Okay. It's ok with me.
But do make a wise decision.
Do come out of the dark and follow the bright path.
Google image

Thing is. Though you want to keep it to yourself, I got my way of knowing it.
I'm a normal human being with an intense curiosity.
But, knowing it does not mean that I'll tell others about it.
My lips are sealed for you.

When thy zip thy mouth

I'm not a conversationalist.
I'm not good at talking.
I'm sOoo not good in initiating conversation.
And it's one of my weakness.
Grr..

I'm not good at talking in a spontaneous manner,
Moreover when speaking english.
I'm better in writing it than saying it.

My soft skill sucks! ~.~

Our world Part I

Come.
Follow me through my journey.

Close your eyes,
and open up your senses.
Photo: Favim.com

Can you feels the light presence next to you?
Can you hear the soft rhythmic breathing next to you?
Do you feels the assuring aura next to you?
Protecting you from the evils around you,
leading your way through the gloomy days.

Feels through it presence,
and now, slowly lose yourself to the warm presence and wild imagination that it may lead.

In a blink,
we are standing on top of a mountain.

Both of us are in white.
Our long gowns is blowing in the wind.
The refreshing breeze brush past our exposed face.

Hand in hand, both of us are standing on the edge of the mountain top.
Engrossed in the world of our own.
Surrounded by nature.
Our long hair blowing in the wind.
The chirping songs of the mountain birds fills our world and accompany us through our moment of silence.

to be continued..

Wordless Wednesday: Uneven fringe

"The hair is the richest ornament of women"
~ Martin Luther

Time to get a new bang? ;)

"I heard that people were really interested in the new haircut, which I think is so funny. Great haircut, I really like it. It goes great with the time period. And I was super, super, super-happy to have my bangs swept to the side rather than straight in front of me, which I dealt with for three seasons. I'm very, very much done with that."

Final year

Lalalala~
Fifth year student. Final year student. One more year and I'll become a doctor.

I finished my elective posting at Sarawak and back to Sabah for my final year.

The feeling of being a final year student was indescribable. I'm left with one more year to equip myself with sufficient knowledge to be a good doctor. And it feels insufficient to me. And yeah, I should be happy that I'll be graduating soon, and can earn money on my own but in the same time, my head is flooded with doubt and fear, on whether I can do it or not. I may pass the final year exam, but I'm not ready for my future career. Cause theory and practical is two very different thing and I'm lacking on the latter. :(

Anything pun, I can't turn back time. And I certainly could and should not run or avoid from the things that make me uncomfortable. So I just need to brace up and be ready to face the challenges that may come my way. Good luck to myself! :)

Project Jeans

" I wish I had invented blue jeans. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity - all I hope for in my clothes."
~ Yves Saint Laurent

Holla lovely folks~
Do you have that one particular clothe or pant that you kept buried in your shelf for years. The one that was out of style and you don't dare to wear in public? ;p

I got this one blue Jeans from my aunt the other day, it was passed down to her by one of my cuzz.
I tried the Jeans once and although the size fitted me well, the style was a little 'something' and it was loose in some certain part too.

The style may suit me or any other person well if today is many years ago, but people prefer skinny Jeans more than flare cut style nowadays.
The Jeans.
See, it was loose and is one of those flare cut type of Jeans.

Moreover, it was from GAP.
A famous American clothing company. :)
*It's the sisterhood of travelling pant's Jeans??* ;p

To salvage this precious pant, I come up with an exquisite idea.
To convert the vintage flare cut Jeans to a skinny Jean.

Woots! Lets see the snippet of my project.
:)
The materials.

Are you intrigued by the paper clips?
I do not have any clothe's pin with me, so I make use of the paper clip to hold the seam in place.

First of all, as the pant was quite lengthy for me, I folded the lower end of the pant to a desired length and sew it together.
My sewing skill not bad right. Hee~

Done adjusting the Jeans' length,
I proceed by reducing the flaring of that pant.
And tadaa!
Skinny Jeans.

The simple process to salvage the precious vintage Jeans succeed!
That's all from Gee. Till then~ Ciao.

" Love is like grass. If you fall on it, it may leave a stain and some temporary pain. But you'll get over the pain, it will eventually stop hurting. Now maybe the stain ruined your favourite pair of jeans, or maybe it was nothing special that was runied, but either way the stain remains there. And with time, it will begin to fade, but it will always be there, a permanent reminder that you, too, once fell."

Foodie Affairs: Ayam Penyet, Padang Jawa

" Do you know what breakfast cereal is made of? It's made of all those little curly wooden shavings you find in pencil sharpeners!"
~ Roald Dahl

Hello lovely folks!
Lunch was extra spicy today.
Had scrumptious ayam penyet as lunch today. Nyum nyum.
The restaurant was called as Padang Jawa, and it was situated at Alam Mesra, which was in close proximity with our campus.
Aside for being extra 'hot', the meal was superb! ;) So, if any of you love spicy food and live around the area, why don't you give it a try. *Wink*
However, beware of the spicy-ness.
As the hotness can be feels throughout your proximal gastrointestinal tract. ;p
*Why am I promoting this food??? ;p*
That's all for today!

Till then, ciao~
Gee.

Sly Artiste

" Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time"
~ Thomas Merton

Voila!
There is this friend of mine.
She has a great passion for art.
She fancy drawing so much, that you can see her wall was full of overflowing arts.
She is a great artist, and I used to call her Sly artist too.

During secondary school time,
People from another class would come and gather around her to admire her work of art.
Some would even request for a drawing or two.

Lets share some of her awesomeness.
The artist!
The sketch.
Overflowing arts~
She made me a ring too.

I'm Not Creative.

Holla folks!
Quid agis? ;p
That would be "How are you" in Latin~ ;p

Well, I posted something about me doing my elective posting at Sarawak over a month ago, and tadaa!
Its done. Finished and I'm back to my 'beloved' uni and am currently a final year Med student.
Hmm, we were needed to write a report and make a poster for that posting trip and today was the deadline for both thingy submission.

Lets take a look at my poster.
There was no specific requirement for it and this was the first design that I had in mind.
How was it?

Simple and simple.
At first, I was being grandiose and thought that it was the best among the best until I see the other's design. Haha..

Biar lah simple! The school won't bother to print juga tu. ;p

That's how Gee's ramble goes~ Vale!

There he goes

Holla July!
Bye bye June!

*Pic was not mine, Just sharing*

I'm stepping to the realm of July one year older than I was last month. :)
