Movie review: Breaking Dawn part two

The sequel for Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn part two finally out here in Malaysia!
google image
I've been waiting for this sequel after being left haunted by Bella's red vampie eyes last year. And I'm glad to say that the movie worth its waiting.

Breaking Dawn part two

Bella has changed to be a real-time vampire after Edward turned her into one before she collapse after the delivery. And Renesmee the baby was the sweetest thing that I ever seen, except for the fact that she looked  like a computer-generated baby. She has a rapid growth rate and in a blink, she grows to be a sweet half mortal-half immortal little girl.
A cousin thought that she was the vicious  immortal child and reported her to the Volturi.

Alice, saw the forthcoming event warns them that the Volturi will come to claim the the child. In order to save Renesmee from the 'red coats', the Cullens family has spread around looking for other vampires to be their witnesses.
Even the wolf pack helped them in their fight and for the first time ever, Twilight shows us the full action awesome fight scenes between the vampires and werewolf.
I was seriously sad when Carlisle head was torn apart by Aro, and when Jasper and a few other lose in their battle with the Volturi.
And I love the part where Edward and Bella works together to kill Aro. But before Aro's head was torn by Bella, Alice brought us back to the reality.
Everything that happened was only a vision that Alice shows to Aro to prevent the fight from happening. What a waste huh?
But I'm kinda glad that it was only a vision.
Why??
Because that's mean Carlisle was still alive! And so do Jasper and the others.
And then there was Jacob... Duh!
I thought Jacob's attachment to Renesmee was in a way that he will be her guardian and protect her away from any danger, but turned out, it was a lover-kind-of-attachment. She was his future partner?? Not good, not good. >.<

But still, overall. This movie is the best of all the series in the Twilight Saga. Awesome!
I'm giving this movie a 4 over 5 stars. *Applause~* ;p

Thanks for reading. XOXO. Gee.

Superstitious nail cutting event.

Holla lovely folks!

Have you ever heard of the superstitious saying that you should not cut your nails at night??
google image
Well, for me, I never heard of such thing until a few years ago.
I was cutting my nail on one particular night when a friend warns me that the elderly has been saying that it wasn't right to do it at night, as the 'friend from the other side' may come to me and eat the nails that has been cut off.
And I was like, heyyyy, that was scary, but there was no such thing as that.
I even have an explanation for why the elder never cut their nails at night.
I was like " they never cut their nail at night because they used to have poor lightning in their home and they might hurt them self when cutting their nails in the dark."
But the friend still hold on to that belief despite my reasonable explanation.

Then, a few weeks ago, Ms Nurul downloaded a Malaysia-produced ghost movie called "You believe in ghost?"
google image
In one of the scene, there was a girl who always cut and groom her nails at night time, her uncle then tell her that she might get disturbed easily by the ghosts if she continue that habit.

But she did not believe in her uncle and even has the gut to make a bet with him. Saying that if she did see a ghost, she will belanja his uncle a meal, whereas if she didn't, the uncle need to buy her dinner. And, eventually in the story, she was haunted by a few souls. Lol.

Palis palis! I don't want that kinda thing to happen to me. Lol >.<

Is this true?
There must be a lot of people holding on to that belief, or else, it would be superstitious enough to be incorporated in a movie right?.

Lol. Do share your opinion of this issue ya.. Heee

Cowardly Gee just finished cutting her nails~ Ciao~ ;p

Cómo estás

Le life has been interesting lately.
As mum is back to town for a week and we had a family trip to Kudat on last weekend.

Even though being in the medicine posting means I will be extra busy with le study, I managed to spend time with the family for the weekend's holiday.
A cousin was having his wedding at Kudat on last Saturday and that was the reason that we wandered far to the tip of Borneo.

I'm gonna share some pictures of Kudat on the next post, but before that, I'm gonna need to work on the assignments and notes.
So, see you then. :)

Movie Review: Istanbul Aku Datang

Holla lovely folks..
This would be my first movie review.
I'm thinking of adding this segment to my bloggie by making review on interesting movies that I recently watched and do let me know what you think of it. :)

Istanbul Aku Datang

A malay comedy/ romantic movie directed by Bernard Chauly, the same director for "Pisau Cukur" and "Gol dan Gincu".

Starring:
Lisa Surihani as Dian
Beto Kusyairy as Harris
Tomok as Azad
Aizat as Azad's housemate, Ijoi

The story line from my point of view:
The story was about Dian (Lisa Surihani) who went to Istanbul, to be together with her long term boyfriend, Azad (Tomok).
Azad was pursuing his medical course there, whereas Dian has enrolled herself in the same university as Azad for a 3 months long language course. She went there with the intention of 'persuading' or 'triggering' Azad to propose her within the 3 months time they will be spending together.
But, things does not turned out as well as she hope as bad things kept happening to her.
Azad was unexpectedly cold toward her and she was needed to move out from his apartment to find another place to stay.
While searching for a suitable apartment, she stumbled upon a man who helped her on her first day at Istanbul and he offered her a nice empty apartment that he claimed to be his grandfather's house. Loving the nice and solitary house, she accepted the offer and fully paid the man for the 3 months rent.
And her bad luck doesn't end there, turned out, she was cheated and she was not the only tenant living in the house. The housemate was Harris (Beto Kusyairy), who was as unhappy as her to find each other living in the same house. The house owner went for a trip to Egypt when the two of them went to look for him to discover the truth behind the misunderstanding.
Dian kept the fact that she was living with a male housemate as a secret from Azad. But, eventually, Azad found out and was very mad at Dian. Harris offered to explain the situation to Azad and, when both Dian and Harris went to Azad's apartment, the two guy started to fight when Azad kept throwing insult and accusation at Dian (saying that she betrayed him with the other man). Then suddenly a girl come to look for Azad and claimed that he was her boyfriend.
And so the truth was exposed. Azad was the one who cheated on Dian while throwing all the blame on her.
Dian was heartbroken and has decided to return to Malaysia. On her last night in Istanbul, Harris has brought her to visit the beautiful places of Istanbul so that she will have a precious memory of the place rather than the heartbroking event.
Despite the fact that they has been fighthing like cat and dog all the while they were living under the same roof, Dian was touched by his kindness.
But, on the same night, Azad went to look for her and ask for forgiveness. Saying that he has broken up with the other girl and she was the only one for her. He then propose to her and she accepted the ring.
On the next morning, when she went down to the taxi where Azad was waiting for her to go to the airport, Harris chased after her and asks her to stay. And so, she has to choose between the two guy.
And for which one does she choose, you need to discover yourself at the cinema.
Enough spoiler for the awesome Malay movie. :)

I'm giving this movie a 3.5/5 Stars. :)

Frankly saying, Lisa was not my favorite Malay actress but this movie changed my impression to this awesome lady. She should take a more happy go lucky and cutesy kind of role as this one rather than being the bad or sad girl. But, nevertheless, her acting is awesome in any kind of movie that she's in. Harris's role was cute too! His catch-phrase is "Jangan biadap" ;p Funny! Even funnier was when Dian thought that he was a gay and started imagining him with another guy with a rainbow next to them. Hee.
Nah! You should watch it yourself to understand what I'm rambling about. ;p
Do give it a chance in your movie list. Thanks for reading. :)

XOXO. Gee.

Le mice invasion

This tale started about a month ago..
Being the sensitive one in the room, I always hears weird noises at night.
It was not a scary as-in-there-was-a-ghost-in-the-room kind of sound, but more of the non-scary sound like plastic being moved around, and something dropped on a plastic's surface or the floor.
And at first, I didn't suspect anything abnormal and thought that the sound came from my roommate (moves around when sleeping and terlanggar the plastic??). Hee

But, there was a time when I heard the sound again at night, and found that my roommate was sleeping soundly. So the sound was certainly not coming from her lah kan, and I was spooked! I straightaway get up and turn on the light for the night. And as expected, the sound stopped after the light was on.

I am a strong believer of our friends from the other side. But I am pretty sure that none of them was living with us or bad enough to cause disturbance in the room. So, in that case, I was suspecting Ms Mice for all the weird happening.
google image
Starting from that night onward, I was not sure whether I was being overly sensitive, alerted or just hearing voices in my head, I started to hear squeaky sound in the room. So, it added to my suspicion of the presence of Ms Mice in the room. But still, I haven't witness her running around in the room.

And there come a day when I was studying and the culprit suddenly appeared from the back of my bookshelf, which was just next to my desk.
And so, the culprit was confirmed to be Ms Mice. ~.~
I didn't catch her but let her get away instead. Well, even if I want to, its impossible juga lah kan, so what I can do was chase it away. ~.~
And there was a night when I was partially asleep and feels some movement on the bed. And as you can guess Ms mice has the gut to use my bed as one of her playground. Cis.. As awful as it sound, I can do nothing and just bear with it. >.<
google image
And.. The happening stopped after a period of time.
le Mice has stopped messing around in the room.

And then it was holiday. Le me and roommate went back for the one week holiday.
And when both of us come back to the room, there was lots of invasion's evidences.
The biscuits was eaten, the drawers was full of mice's feces and there was bad smell of it's urine somewhere..
Tak guna punya tikus..
google image
And I seen the intruder for this time too. It was not the same mice as last time, but a much smaller mouse. Small but cause more trouble than the bigger one. >.<

google image
And now, they are still in the room and le me has no idea how to chase them away. T.T

Mind to give me pest-control punya tips? Hehe.. Gee.
