It's been awhile isn't it.

Final exam officially ended today and the result will be due tomorrow.

I do not know whether I did my best during the 2 weeks exam's times and I do not expect much of my exam result. But I do hope that I'll pass the exam and become a good D.

The past weeks have been hectic with the revision of the mountain high of notes that need to be covered for the big exam. Why won't it be when we needed to cover the subjects that we learned a few years back and the one that we haven't seen in just a couple of weeks time.

It has been one of the most stressful moment in my life and it feels great to finally be able to let go of the 'student' status of my life and move on to the future. *If I pass my exam*

Am still blurred from the lack of sleep right now and I'll blog again soon after the exam result is out.

3 more months

Holla lovely folks.

Although this is a personal blog, I seldom write about my private life. I have no confidence in myself and I feels that my life is not worth sharing. But since I changed my blog's name to "a journey to a true self", I might as well be true to myself and post more about myself and my life here.

Being in the last chapter of a student's life, I feel the need to scribble something here, so that in the future, I'll have something to look back for and a remembrance that I was once a student.

I never know what I was gonna be when I was young.  well, I never know what I was going to be until I finished my course in matriculation. I am not a top achiever. Back at high school, I focus more on the subjects of interest and paid less attention to the the topics that bored me to H@#L, such as history and geography. I love science and math, and so, as you can guess, I did well in those subjects.

Going with the flow of the path that God created for me, I was lucky and blessed for being accepted into the Matriculation College. And there was a saying that says "Hard work pays off", and I'm quite agree with the statement as I worked hard at Matric and God rewarded me with a good course and a good future.

I chose Medicine as my degree at UMS. It is a long course, it takes me 5 years to complete my studies. But, I'm still not out into the working environment yet, 3 more months. 3 more months before the big exam and before entering the next phase of my life. I need to work extra hard during this 3 months time. The finishing line is within my grasp and I cannot let anything spoils it. God Bless me and my studies. God Bless all of you too. Amen.

I am just sharing a random thought. 3 more months as a student.

Fact 1: I got bored of staring at the open book and decided to do something pleasurable instead.

And I did this. Photo editing.

Fact 2: Life turned dull without the daily dose of excitement from doing things that I love doing. Lol. Apa lah konon tu kan.

Life is a mess. 

I am disorganized. 

And if you notice, that is a novel on top of my textbook. Lol. Disorganized much.

Sigh. 

I'm in need of some motivation. Inspiration to keep my engine running for studying. @.@

Do you still remember the time when I mistaken a moussie activity for a paranormal one?

And how it wrecked our room in just one week time?

Well, I supposed someone finally reported these culprits to the hostel management and some sort of intervention was done at our hostel.

Last week, a total of 3 mouse traps were set on my floor's corridor.

And for the first few days, the cage/mouse traps was unoccupied. No moussie was lured into one.

And I doubt that any mouse will get trapped in the cage at all.

But surprisingly, the day before yesterday.

One mouse get into one of the trap. 

And another get into the other one on the next day.

And I thought that was all. 

I personally thought there were only two mouse living on our floor.

And yet, the last cage held its victory this evening.

The third moussie was held captive within the mouse traps.

I was wrong. There could be more rats in this hostel but there are no more cages for them. Huu.

Le mice invasion

This tale started about a month ago..

Being the sensitive one in the room, I always hears weird noises at night. 

It was not a scary as-in-there-was-a-ghost-in-the-room kind of sound, but more of the non-scary sound like plastic being moved around, and something dropped on a plastic's surface or the floor.

And at first, I didn't suspect anything abnormal and thought that the sound came from my roommate (moves around when sleeping and terlanggar the plastic??). Hee 

But, there was a time when I heard the sound again at night, and found that my roommate was sleeping soundly. So the sound was certainly not coming from her lah kan, and I was spooked! I straightaway get up and turn on the light for the night. And as expected, the sound stopped after the light was on.

I am a strong believer of our friends from the other side. But I am pretty sure that none of them was living with us or bad enough to cause disturbance in the room. So, in that case, I was suspecting Ms Mice for all the weird happening.

Starting from that night onward, I was not sure whether I was being overly sensitive, alerted or just hearing voices in my head, I started to hear squeaky sound in the room. So, it added to my suspicion of the presence of Ms Mice in the room. But still, I haven't witness her running around in the room.

And there come a day when I was studying and the culprit suddenly appeared from the back of my bookshelf, which was just next to my desk.

And so, the culprit was confirmed to be Ms Mice. ~.~

I didn't catch her but let her get away instead. Well, even if I want to, its impossible juga lah kan, so what I can do was chase it away. ~.~

And there was a night when I was partially asleep and feels some movement on the bed. And as you can guess Ms mice has the gut to use my bed as one of her playground. Cis.. As awful as it sound, I can do nothing and just bear with it. >.<

And.. The happening stopped after a period of time.

le Mice has stopped messing around in the room.

And then it was holiday. Le me and roommate went back for the one week holiday.

And when both of us come back to the room, there was lots of invasion's evidences.

The biscuits was eaten, the drawers was full of mice's feces and there was bad smell of it's urine somewhere..

Tak guna punya tikus..

And I seen the intruder for this time too. It was not the same mice as last time, but a much smaller mouse. Small but cause more trouble than the bigger one. >.<

And now, they are still in the room and le me has no idea how to chase them away. T.T

Mind to give me pest-control punya tips? Hehe.. Gee.

Chasing pavement.

Its been raining cats and dogs for the past few weeks..

and the wet pavements has caused great misery to le shoes and sandals.

Last Wednesday was a nice day with the extra bright sun on the sky without even a hint of dark cloud seen.

and le me had done a great deed to le shoes.

 The lucky sandals and shoe.

They may not be expensive. But the comfort of wearing them make the cleaning worth its effort. :)

Post-exam

Hey ya all..

I'm back from the war and although thousands of arrow and catapult were thrown on me.. I survived. :)

I admit that I didn't spend much time on the books as I had on previous postings

And I didn't practice much either.

But, the exam questions were seriously hard. T.T

And I'm sure that even if I stick my head on the book for 24/7, I will not be able to handle it. >.<

Hee! 

But despite the negativity, I'll be having one week of holiday! 

So.. it's time fore de-stress and relax. 

huh!

Approaching exam

I had been negative on my last post. Pleaseee... Blame it on the exam. Student's life is not complete without it right? ;)

Annnddddd... Finally! I have my weekend off this week. Yeay.
I had been having a long weeks last week and this week. Last week continuously till this week. Errr.. Does it sound right? What I meant is, we had been having classes on every Saturday for the past few weeks, and even on Sunday last week. So, we had class 7 days a week last week. And it's such a relief that we have no class this weekend.

Then, next week will be the last week for my Surgery posting at SMC and the exam will follows a week after that.
WTH right? Such a busy life with not enough time to study and yet, need to sit for exam. Exam, I seriously dislike you. But its ok, 4 more exams and I'll be free.. Whee~

I need to study mountain high of notes this week lah then. Stress! But no facing the books tonight. Today in history for having 3 bedside teaching in a day, and le me is so tired that le me chose to relax tonight and start working hard tomorrow.

Unevitable failure

What an adverse event.
We never expect it to happen and we are confused why you are blaming it on us.

Well, how should I start it..

Me and a few friends were unlucky enough to be chosen as the debater for today's debate.
Had been told about this last week, but being the typical student, we prepared things at the later hour. Last minute preparation...
And, just to make thing clear, I just want to let you know that, I am not a debater. I am not good at speaking in the public. What more in arguing and debating. I know that they are aware of this fact too, as they seen me before, and I was never good in presenting anything in the public.

Continue with the series of unfortunate event of mine..

So we had a debate today, and the lecturer in charge of this debate is a new foreign enthusiastic lecturer from Egypt. He is known for being over enthusiastic with his teaching and well.. being the new lecturer, we do not know much about him lah then kan.

And our debate turned out to be uninteresting to him. And he was not satisfy with it that he request for another debate session of the same topic. Expect us to give him more evidence than the earlier one. And lucky enough for me, he don't want the same person to do the debate. And so, my friends became the victim and has to re-debate this evening. Everyone was clearly not so happy with the decision. But, the lecturer are persistent and the thing has to go on.

And after class. This friend of mine post about his unsatisfactory on FB. *And it is hurtful*

Dear friend, 

We never expect this kind of thing to happen. We never know that he  expect a lot from us. I'm sorry for performing badly on this morning debate. I'm sorry for being a failure. We never intent for this kind of thing to happen to all of you.

"End of holiday"

One week of holiday ended and I'm back to Uni and started my second posting/ class for year 5.

Internet connection after the new semester started is a little bit slow. Woo! I can't no longer online as frequent as I used to.

Week one of Surgical posting has been great. The lecturers are nice as always and the surgical department's environment itself is great.(*even if it's not, psycho diri sendiri*)

My surgical knowledge was rusted and a lot of revision needed to be done to polish it back. >.<

So, lets see each other once a week. On the weekend to be precise. :)

Jumbled up post

I'm in the mood of posting something on my page.

So.. Lemme just jumbled up everything and let you see the snippet of my life.

Errr... for today to be specific. :)

Went to Pizza Hut for lunch this afternoon.

And ordered spaghetti for miself.

And le friends ordered Pan pizza for their self.

Nyum nyum.

Went back hostel after lunch and was distracted by the Jambu air's tree in front of our block.

And decided to do some harvesting and...

Tadaaa!

Free carb dinner la then. :)

And these would be my haul from Padini's sale last week. 

Busy busy class pun sempat juga go shopping kan. Hehe

I'm in need of a pair of new shoe, and I get myself that Vincci sweetie pie.

And.. I did not plan to buy any clothe and yet, apa jadi, tu dia.. got me a pair of blouse too. ~.~

I made a new header!! :)

I downloaded the header template from ShabbyBlog site and designed the template with an online app called PhotoFlexer. 

Simple and not much an eyesore than my previous header. :p

So how was it? :)

And not forget to mention that I went to an event this morning too.

It was a Hepatitis's health exhibition plus free hepatitis C screening being held at Suria Shopping complex, KK.

Interesting posters about Hepatitis C was being exhibited and liver's specimens were available for viewing too.

Am not gonna ramble much on the academic stuff though, as this is my world of escapee, and I will not mention much academic stuff here. ;p

And tadaa!

I've done a free screening test for Hep C.

Gosh!

I'm getting chubbier! :((

I'm not categorized as the 'at risk' group, but I insisted the staffs to let me do the screening and I succeed.

*Who's know what evil could be swimming around in my blood* ;p

The screening's result was not immediately available as it needed to be process in the lab by the expert.

The result will be send to those who participated by mail on God-know-when and someone with 'positive' result will get a call on God-know-when too. :)

Lunch was extra spicy today.

Had scrumptious ayam penyet as lunch today. Nyum nyum.

The restaurant was called as Padang Jawa, and it was situated at Alam Mesra, which was in close proximity with our campus.

Aside for being extra 'hot', the meal was superb! ;) So, if any of you love spicy food and live around the area, why don't you give it a try. *Wink*

However, beware of the spicy-ness.

As the hotness can be feels throughout your proximal gastrointestinal tract. ;p

*Why am I promoting this food??? ;p*

Its done. Finished and I'm back to my 'beloved' uni and am currently a final year Med student.

Hmm, we were needed to write a report and make a poster for that posting trip and today was the deadline for both thingy submission.

There was no specific requirement for it and this was the first design that I had in mind.

How was it?

Simple and simple. 

At first, I was being grandiose and thought that it was the best among the best until I see the other's design. Haha..

Biar lah simple! The school won't bother to print juga tu. ;p
