Hello-ing

It's been more than a month now. The 'honeymoon' phase of le post-student's life.
I've been spending most of my time at Sandakan accompanying my sister 'ber-pantang'.
I feel normal. No need to worry for the coming exam. No need to study every night.

And having a toddler at the house, it was not convenience for me to play with the laptop as the nephew will surely attack me/ more of the laptop if he see one. So, that's attribute to the lack of update from me. Hee.

This is just a short post though.
Just want to say Hi to the lovely folks who are reading these and wish all of you a good day  and a fun weekend ahead.

Bye bye. :)

Happy CNY and the extra spices of my blood.

Happy Chinese New Year!

I'm not a pure Chinese, but I'm celebrating the Chinese's culture of celebrating this special day. :)

People have been asking me whether I'm a Chinese and the answer for that question is somewhat complicated. I used to love the fact that I came from a complicated and confusing family tree that I take the pleasure of explaining it to my friends, but as time goes by, I grew tired of the long and twisting family genealogy and will simply answer them with either yes or no.

"Yes, I am a Sino Kadazan (Kadazan mix with Chinese)"
or
"Nope, I'm a Kadazan/Dusun"

Well, if I'm to say that I'm a mixed blood, I will say that I am a Kadazan+Dusun+Indian+Chinese.

I'm in the mood of explaining it right now, so, here it goes. :)

My paternal grandfather is a pure Indian from India, he married to my grandmother, who was a local Sabahan (Kadazan). Then, due to unknown reason (I was never told why), my father was adopted by my grandmother's elder sister, who married to a pure Chinese guy from Hong Kong.
My father, a Dusun+Indian+Chinese's culture then married to my Mum (Dusun).

In short, I'm a Kadazan Dusun. But sometimes, I like to add extra spices to my blood. So, at times, I'll admit that I'm an Indian or Chinese. Lol.
But, it's not a crime to feel special over trivial things right. :)

So, my family have been practicing the Chinese's culture of having reunion dinner on Chinese New Year Eve and used to celebrate the light festival when my Indian grandpa was alive too.

But, when we see each other next time and you ask me what race am I, I'll just answer you with Kadazan. :)

Back to the main reason why I post this..

Happy Chinese New Year again folks! :)

The reason why I love CNY so much. Hehe.

And Oh, a random shot of the curtain. Purposeless much hoh. @.@

Have a great day folks! Thanks for reading.

He used to celebrate this,
He used to scold us for turning on the light and asked us to turned it off and light the candles instead.
He used to call his children and all of us will have a small gathering for his behalf on this lovely day.

But he is long gone.
The loving soul of my late DaDa..

Happy Diwali DaDa!
No matter what happened, this day reminded me of you.
God Bless your soul where ever you are now DaDa. :)

XOXO. Gee.

Hi! Bye!

Hey hey everyone! How are you? :)

I have not blog for 2 weeks and this page has been covered with lots of cobwebs.Huh! >.< a lot of clean up need to be done! ;p

"End of holiday"
One week of holiday ended and I'm back to Uni and started my second posting/ class for year 5.
Internet connection after the new semester started is a little bit slow. Woo! I can't no longer online as frequent as I used to.

"The study"
Week one of Surgical posting has been great. The lecturers are nice as always and the surgical department's environment itself is great.(*even if it's not, psycho diri sendiri*)
My surgical knowledge was rusted and a lot of revision needed to be done to polish it back. >.<
So, lets see each other once a week. On the weekend to be precise. :)

"The wishes"
Happy Malaysia Day Malaysian! Lets stay united forever! :)
and welcome to new Juniors who enrolled in UMS! :)

The end. See you again. Gee. Ciao.

Happy Independence Day Malaysia

Hereby..
I want to wish all Malaysian a Happy Independence/ National Day!!

Google Pic

31 August marked the indepence day for Malaysia and it is celebrated country-wide on this special day.
And even though Sabah did not get independent on the same day as Malaya, all of us celebrated this special day together. :) All thanks to the people that worked hard to negotiate our way to independence! Yeay!
We all are Malaysian.
Push aside all the political error, misunderstanding and racism.
Cut off the crap about separating Borneo and Malaya, and be more realistic by focusing to be a better person and thus better friend and neighbor, especially to different races people.
And be a true One Malaysia.

Again.. Happy Independence Day Malaysia!!

No intent of offending any party Gee. Ciao. :)
