Project Jeans

" I wish I had invented blue jeans. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity - all I hope for in my clothes."
~ Yves Saint Laurent

Holla lovely folks~
Do you have that one particular clothe or pant that you kept buried in your shelf for years. The one that was out of style and you don't dare to wear in public? ;p

I got this one blue Jeans from my aunt the other day, it was passed down to her by one of my cuzz.
I tried the Jeans once and although the size fitted me well, the style was a little 'something' and it was loose in some certain part too.

The style may suit me or any other person well if today is many years ago, but people prefer skinny Jeans more than flare cut style nowadays.
The Jeans.
See, it was loose and is one of those flare cut type of Jeans.

Moreover, it was from GAP.
A famous American clothing company. :)
*It's the sisterhood of travelling pant's Jeans??* ;p

To salvage this precious pant, I come up with an exquisite idea.
To convert the vintage flare cut Jeans to a skinny Jean.

Woots! Lets see the snippet of my project.
:)
The materials.

Are you intrigued by the paper clips?
I do not have any clothe's pin with me, so I make use of the paper clip to hold the seam in place.

First of all, as the pant was quite lengthy for me, I folded the lower end of the pant to a desired length and sew it together.
My sewing skill not bad right. Hee~

Done adjusting the Jeans' length,
I proceed by reducing the flaring of that pant.
And tadaa!
Skinny Jeans.

The simple process to salvage the precious vintage Jeans succeed!
That's all from Gee. Till then~ Ciao.

" Love is like grass. If you fall on it, it may leave a stain and some temporary pain. But you'll get over the pain, it will eventually stop hurting. Now maybe the stain ruined your favourite pair of jeans, or maybe it was nothing special that was runied, but either way the stain remains there. And with time, it will begin to fade, but it will always be there, a permanent reminder that you, too, once fell."

Project Wall

"Glancing at the wall and see nothing.
I'm surrounded by nothing but whiteness.
And What if...
What if it is painted in pink?
Hmm.. Nay~ Troublesome.
And what if, I get some of those cute wall-sticker~"

What if?
Well.. This how it turned out to be~

My blank wall.

And the hero that came to the rescue.

Hey there lil kitty, lets get you a new home. :)

The instructions. Not everything that come from China is unreliable. :)

The rough idea on how it should turned out to be.

Testing with a few stickers first.

And trying to get all the windows on the wall.

Okie. I love you the way you are.

And add a little details.

Completed. Mission accomplished.

It might not be grand, but its better than bland. :)

p/s: Its from Kaison. :)
